MAF has a high standard of aircraft maintenance. One Cessna Caravan operates in Madagascar, and fourteen Caravans operate elsewhere in Africa. Experience is shared throughout our programs.

We have two Madagascar approved, licensed aircraft maintenance engineers on site who are highly experienced and have factory training. Regular refresher training for our maintenance staff is also provided.

We use the manufacturer's customized maintenance program, and we have a comprehensive stock of basic spare parts in Antananarivo, with access to the MAF component pool for high value spares.

Engine Condition Trend Monitoring ensures the long term health of our turbine engines.

For technical assistance, we have the support of the Aviation Service Department in the UK, as well as the MAF Avionics Shop in Nairobi for avionics troubleshooting.

We have regular Safety Action Group meetings and Quality Audits (see Qualty Assurance).
