Custom Liaison
MAF can assist our partner organizations by liaising with customs. There are often some complicated issues to work through, for example tax implications which vary according to the kind of article and which organization is involved.
We have many years of experience in handling these issues, which can be time-consuming and difficult. We are happy to advise you in dealing with customs, or for a reasonable fee we will undertake to liaise with them on your behalf.
We can assist in the following matters:
- Sending or receiving items
e.g. educational materials, vehicle or aircraft parts.
- Parts through customs
Arranging for vehicle and container parts to go through customs
- Containers
Arranging for importing containers. If items listed differ in any way from the actual contents found, this can be a lengthy process.
- Equipment Use – Renewal of Permits
Renewal of permits to use vehicles, aircraft or other equipment within Madagascar. Permits are required to be renewed every 2 years.
