Government Services
Obtaining documentation, licenses or official papers from government agencies can be a difficult and time consuming process. MAF Madagascar is more than willing to help members of our partner groups to liaise with the relevant offices and authorities. Because of our experience we are able to give assistance in approaching government departments who deal with issues, such as those listed below.
Acquiring these items often involves much negotiation and travel to and from government offices, and it can be confusing trying to find the right department. Because we do this regularly for partners and staff members we are able to handle this efficiently for you and save you much time and effort, especially if you have difficulty with the language. We charge a reasonable fee for this service, but often it works out to be much less expensive for you in the long run.
We are also happy to give free advice if you would prefer to attend to the matter yourself. Please contact the Logistics Department for further information.

When you bring a car into the country you need to acquire a Madagascar number plate and the vehicle will require a technical check (‘viste technique’).
