MAF Madagascar specialises in services to remote and isolated places. Given the remoteness of these locations however, there is often no local transport available, on arrival at your chosen destination. Still, your journey doesn’t have to end there. We have 3 different options available, which will enable you to continue your journey further.

MAF Madagascar provides quad bikes with a trailer or a foldable boat (including a small outboard engine) to its partners. When flying with MAF both ways, MAF will let you use these items at your remote location, free of charge. You will be responsible for the fuel, and the cost of getting the equipment to the location and back.

And of course our aircraft are big enough to carry your personal bicycle if you prefer that.

HoverAid Madagascar operates two Hovercraft bases. One in Ankavandra along the Manambolo River, the other in Beroroha along the Mangoky river.

Because of this service, any location along these two rivers is accessible to our partners who choose to fly to these HoverAid bases.

MAF Madagascar has experience in coordinating transport and logistics with a helicopter operator. In many cases, MAF aircraft has provided logistical support to remote helicopter bases. The combination of using both, helicopter and aircraft, enables our partners to access remote places of Madagascar. For bookings please contact the MAF Operations Department.
