“And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”     ACTS 1:8

Over the past two thousand years the gospel has spread to much of the world, but the hard-to-reach corners like remote Madagascar have been neglected. Since these areas are difficult or impossible to access by normal transport, it is hard for the church to share the gospel to the ‘end of the earth’.

MAMAFY – How can we help the church to sow the gospel?

If you are an evangelist, local church worker, pastor or someone who has a heart to bring the Good News to the lost in the hard to reach areas, we can help: MAF Madagascar has tailored a project, which we call MAMAFY, specifically for you so that you can travel by air at a cost similar to that of a taxi brousse, and traveling by air is significantly fast than by road.

Subsidized flights

Because of the relatively low costs of operating our C182 aircraft, MAF has been able to raise funds in order to subsidize specific flights for the local church to the point that you, the local missionary, only pays 10% of the actual costs! MAF can do this because like us, our partners in Europe want to see the gospel brought to the most isolated people, and who better to bring it than the local church. Malagasy serving Malagasy.

Report back – Being a blessing in Madagascar and elsewhere.

The MAMAFY project is available to be used by any local church, who want to evangelize or train the remote church. We ask you to write a small report on the work that was done during your mission.

We use these reports and stories to continually raise more money and ask for prayers in churches all around the world. In that way the church in Madagascar and around the world can be a blessing for each other.
